Friday 22 May - For those staying in Verchaix on the night of Friday 22 May, vans will be available to take you from Verchaix (to the Morzine Mairie, Le Vaffieu) and back. Additionally, those based in Morzine who responded will have transport from the Morzine Mairie to Le Vaffieu and back.

Flights
We recommend flying into Geneva Airport (Switzerland) which is 1hr 15mins from Verchaix by car & has a train station within the airport for onward travel.
For international guests from further-a-field, Zurich Airport is also an option and has a train to take you to Geneva.

Transfers
If you want to be car free for the weekend then we recommend pre-booking a transfer from Geneva Airport to Verchaix. Taxi's do exist at Geneva Airport but you will be paying a premium if you get one on arrival.
We highly recommend using a local transfer company such as:
-
Skiidy Gonzalez
-
Getaway Vans
Shared transfers are the most economical option therefore to help you contact other guests we have set up a shared document where you can add your details and contact other guests on similar flights: Guest Transfers

Car Rental
If you're flying in — especially if you're joining us for the events on Friday, May 22 — we recommend renting a car for the weekend. It'll make getting around easier and give you the freedom to explore the area too.

Public Transport
It is possible to travel from Geneva Airport to Verchaix by public transport.
You can take the train directly out the airport to Cluses (Haute-Savoie). We recommend downloading the SBB app to buy the ticket as opposed to using the machines at the airport.
At Cluses, take the Y94 bus to Verchaix, Zone Artisanale which is a 400m walk from Les Hameaux du Giffre.
Please note: Monday 25 May 2026 is a public holiday in both France and Switzerland which may result in no/reduced services on public transport
